Ending a tricky term and starting a fresh new one

18 August 2021

After a tricky year with very little face to face scouting, 2nd Tonbridge had an action packed end to the summer term. Scouts, cubs and beavers all made good use of a very muddy Dene Park to add to their Hikes Away badge tallies. Cubs ended the term with their traditional hot dogs, while Tuesday and Friday night Beavers joined forces at Clip N Climb. And we were delighted to award a number of Chief Scouts Awards at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, despite the challenges of lock down. Well done everyone!

Next term will start in the week beginning 6th September, and all sections will be returning to their “normal” programme of badge work and exciting activities. Many children will be moving up to new sections and we look forward to welcoming lots of new Beavers to our youngest section. We hope you all return from your summer break refreshed and eager to get involved in everything your leaders have planned.
