Badges & Achievements 🎖️
Earning badges is a huge part of the fun at Beavers! It’s how we celebrate every new skill learned, from lighting a first campfire to helping out in the local community.
The Road to Bronze… 🥉
The ultimate goal for any Beaver is the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award. This is the highest honor a Beaver can achieve. To earn it, Beavers complete:
- 🌟 The Six Challenge Awards: Adventure, Outdoor, My Skills, Teamwork, My World, and Personal.
- 🎨 Any 4 Activity Badges: Specialist badges that dive deep into specific hobbies or skills.
Pursue Your Passions 🚀
🏠 In the Hut
We work on “classics" like Camp Craft, Safety, and Cook during our weekly meetings. It’s all about hands-on learning with friends!
🌳 At Home
Hobbies like Space, Animal Friend, or Digital Citizen can be completed at home. We love seeing what they achieve in their own time!

Beaver Gear: Getting Ready 👕
When a Beaver puts on their blue sweatshirt, they’re part of the team! We keep things simple so they can focus on jumping in and having fun.
The Main Bit:
- Sky blue sweatshirt
- 2nd Tonbridge Necker
Top Tip:
Beavers get muddy! Wear comfortable trousers (like leggings or joggers) and trainers they can run in.
🛒 Where to Buy
You can pick up the sweatshirt at the local Scout and Guide Shop at Weir View HQ. It’s cheaper than online and helps our local groups!
